Boston Red Sox Spring Training

Fort Myers has been the spring-training home of the Boston Red Sox since 1993, when the team moved from Winter Haven's Chain of Lakes Park. The Red Sox train at City of Palms Park, while the minor-league facility, featuring five full fields, is a short distance away.

Florida Everblades Hockey

he Everblades are thought of to be model franchise for the ECHL, as they have not missed the playoffs in each of their nine seasons, and making two appearances in the Kelly Cup Finals.
